ChairWorks is American owned and has operated for 30 years and is dedicated to designing an innovative line of products that are manufactured primarily of recyclable materials. The large selection of ChairWorks products consists of leather executive chairs, executive chairs designed for the "big & tall", conference chairs, and stacking chairs. General line is available assembled in the USA. All product meets or exceeds ANSI/BIFMA standards.

All ChairWorks products meet GREENGUARD Certification Standards for Low-Emitting Products. The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute is an industry-independent, nonprofit organization that has established performance based standards to define goods with low chemical and particle emissions for use indoors, including seating products. The standard establishes certification procedures including test methods, allowable emissions levels, product sample collection and handling, testing type and frequency, and program application processes and acceptance.

GREENGUARD Certified products undergo rigorous testing to determine their impact on indoor air pollution with requirements for ongoing testing and verification.

Shipping Information

TITLE OF GOODS passes to purchaser and our responsibility ceases when shipment is accepted by any carrier from our Distribution Center. ChairWorks reserves the right to ship via carrier and method of our choosing, unless an alternate method has been agreed upon in writing, in advance. If shipment is received damaged, note damage on carrier freight bill at time of acceptance and file claim for appropriate damages from the carrier.

Concealed damage must be reported to the transportation company within 15 days from the date of delivery. All damaged merchandise claims must be filed directly with the delivery carrier.

Returned Goods

Returned merchandise will not be accepted unless authorized in writing prior to return; ship freight prepaid in original carton, and if applicable, will be subject to a restocking charge of 25%. Customer will be responsible for any damage and the cost of re-boxing if required prior to any credits being issued.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Due to the quick ship nature of ChairWorks products, we must limit customer changes and cancellations. All chairs generally ship in 48 hours of receipt of an approved order. Orders cancelled or changed after shipment will be subject to a 25% restocking charge plus the return freight charges. All changes or cancellations must be in writing.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

ChairWorks offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty, except as defined below:

• To be free of defects in material and workmanship to the original owner when used under normal conditions from the date of purchase.
• Swivel and tilt mechanisms and bases are warranted for five years, pneumatic cylinders, casters and all wood or plastic components and all upholstery are warranted for three years.
• The warranty does not apply to damage caused by fire, accident, negligence, misuse, improper cleaning or other factors not directly attributed to manufacturing defects. These will void the warranty.
• Warranty is limited to repairs and/or replacement, at our option, when the product has been used under normal conditions. Consent from ChairWorks must be obtained before any warranty work is performed.
• Users are responsible for correct assembly, maintenance and cleaning, and periodic checking and retightening hardware.
• No two pieces of leather are alike: variations and marks may occur naturally and are not defects.

In the event of repair and/or replacement of any defective product, ChairWorks does not warrant matching color, grain, texture or dye lots. See assembly care and instructions. This warranty does not apply when product has been modified or altered, repaired or refurbished by someone other than ChairWorks. The above mentioned warranty is the only one applicable to this product. All other warranties expressed or implied are disclaimed. Defective parts or product should be returned prepaid, insured and with letter of explanation, dated proof of purchase.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty is not applicable to end user customers who use ChairWorks products for rental purposes and is effective only for products, parts or components manufactured after January 1, 2000.
